This place was GREAT! It was my first time going. We had a blast. The food was AMAZING!

Loved this place! Fast service, great good! Will definitely go back. We had boiled shrimp, raw oysters, popcorn shrimp Caesar salad, French fries. All were excellent, no complaints!

Great restaurant and very friendly and efficient staff and team of employees. Excellent quality, pricing and service. We had a delicious lunch and it was very quick and fast service. It was so delicious that we ordered more food. This is a must place to visit when you are in Louisiana and on your way to Venice. It's worth the drive and any potential waits. Top notch place and a small jewel in a big city.

Omg y'all!!!! For real hands down the best quality and best price ever. We ordered the seafood boat for 2 to 3 people but the 3 of us didn't even make a dent in it. We had 2 dozen fried oysters. 2 dozen deveined shrimp. 2 crab cakes. A ton of catfish and fries. The boat usually comes with 2 soft shell crabs but they allowed us to substitute them for catfish. Great customer service too. We shall return.

Raw oysters were delicious seafood is great a little over pricey but will go there again

Out of spending 60 bucks on crawish shrimp and pasta..the best thing about the meal was the fries and thats not saying much. Sourness in the shrimp and the crawfish was tough.

Got food poisoning after eating their crawfish. I got some to go, they said they had a batch available but I still waited almost 30 minutes for them to give it to me. It was probably a sign to leave! The crawfish were full of mud, you can tell they weren’t cleaned and most of it was barely edible and the rest were complete mush! I think I was craving it so bad and after paying the money, I wanted to eat what I could to not waste. I should’ve known better but they should’ve never served that to anyone! Such an upsetting experience.

The food was good no real complaints on the flavor. Although the gumbo was very thick. Like a stew instead of a soup. They were out of crawdads. We were here to experience New Orleans food. They added extra crabs which we didn't eat. It would of been nice if they had asked what they were going to substitute.

The 6 of us ordered a variety of the menu items and EVERYTHING was delicious. Ample servings (we all had to get take home boxes) and GREAT seasoning! Definitely a place to visit again!

Hands down the best crawfish in the entire state of LOUISIANA. I don't know how to describe this place but It is one hell of a ''cozy'' hole in the wall type of restaurant we're you feel like you are eating right at home with some of the best southern Cajun creole style/type of food. We now eat here twice if not three times a weak and the staff is just beyond above and beyond with the best southern hospitality you will find anywhere in Louisiana! CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF SMITTY'S =)

Great food, great prices. On weekends the waiting time it's a little bit longer but great seafood

Great gumbo, shrimp po-boys, fried fish and baked mac. All you can eat crabs were very disappointing- the first round of crabs were a nice size, round 2 and onward were tiny and should have been thrown back in the bayou instead of on my plate.

Best Crawfish I've had in awhile. Seasoned perfectly not too spicy to eat but just right

Smitty's Seafood is a cool seafood restaurant in Kenner. The seasoning is used for the seafood is wonderful. I also enjoyed how the seafood was served in juice and not dry. Our waitress was wonderful even though sje was slammed with customers during the unlimited blue crab and shrimp Thursday. Several customers complained about some of the crabs being empty and/or soft meat. I will return and do recommend Smitty's

Good alternative while Harbor Seafood rebuilds from the fire. Fish was fresh and served hot from the grill. Friendly service.

Took a little long to get our food, but when it came out it was hot and very good. I think they were just short staffed, so we weren't upset about the time it took. Definitely would go back.

The shrimp poboy was wonderful! Seasoned well and fresh. The mushrooms were the best I have had had do with the right amount of spice. The gumbo was less than impressive though very bland amd had to use hot sauce to give some type of seasoning. Not nearly enough meat to say the least TO be called gumbo. Instead of the same size shrimp that was used for the poboy they were about the size of salad shrimp. All in all I would go back just not to get the gumbo.

Roast Beef Poboy is the best I ever had and I can't forget about the Oyster Poboy. Absolutely Delicious.

What an awesome place. Good food. Good people. We met the owner Marie what a beautiful spirit. Tori was an amazing server she treated us like family. The all you can eat shrimp and crab was so good. Very spicy. The hush puppies were good, the mixed veggies were good, the Cajun potatoes were good, the Crawfish were good. We had a wonderful time and they have a sink you can wash your hands with. The seafood was super fresh. Would definitely go back.

Limited seating went between lunch and dinner. Not a problem! Cat fish poorboy great, hit the spot. Staff friendly and following social distancing. A favorite place for us to eat.

While the wait to be seated was quite long (nearly a half hour), once we were inside the service and food were excellent and the price for boiled shrimp seemed reasonable. Seafood gumbo was delicious, beer was cold, and coffee was fresh. Will definitely go back.

Quite possibly the best meal I have ever eaten out. I do not throw around five stars, but this place hit the trifecta - great people, great food and great value.We happen to show up on the first night of "All you can eat crawfish" - they are the bomb-diggity. I am a California guy and have only had crawfish two or three times before, these we're better then ANY SEAFOOD I have eaten before. We also had the gumbo - WOW! Good stuff. Tammie had a bowl of the soup of the day - Crawfish and corn chowder, she ate the whole bowl and would go back for seconds in a heart beat. I had a couple spoonfuls and would have loved a whole bowl if I was not eating "All you can eat crawfish". The chowder was better than any clam chowder I have EVER had.Everyone was very nice and we fell in love with the staff. When you go I hope you get Sandra as a waitress, she mad this California guy and gal feel right at home.Thank you my Picayune brother for sending us there.

I ate Crawfish Etoufee, popcorn shrimp, and a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette. My boyfriend had 2lbs boiled crawfish. He ate em all. His brother had shrimp poboy. He devoured it. Everything looked fresh and tasted exceptional. One thing that was bothersome were 3 gnats. I guess it couldnt help it but want our seafood.

With two adjacent buildings, don't be confused by the after hours bar and the family restaurant. The restaurant is nothing fancy and everything you want in a local seafood place. Fresh food, down-home cooking, friendly service and lots of regulars are among the good attributes. And the prices are commensurate with a real local neighborhood place, and not upscale locations heavy on ambiance and fancy fixtures. For $19.95 -- including tip -- I enjoyed a huge, fully-dressed, overflowing fried oyster poboy, a bowl of thick, rich seafood gumbo and an ice cold local Abita beer. I was perfectly happy enjoying that local seafood perfection all alone on an out-of-town Valentine's afternoon. And I'll be back!

Love this place service awesome and very clean

Used to be a good place, but our last experience was horrible to say the least. We were served 3lbs of rancid crawfish. Half of the tray had straight tails! To make matters worse, they refused to take them back, and left them on our bill. I can promise we will never go back, perhaps they have new owners. The only bright side is nobody got sick!

Great and fast service considered we had a group of 40 ppl. Waitress was well organized and friendly. Everyone order was correct and delicious.

I was recommended to this place for some crabs. However don't waste your time. Sight unseen is not the way to purchase from them. They charged me for medium and bought me VERY small in a brown paper bag. Trust me I was not a happy out of towner and will never patronize sneaky restaurant tactics like this. This was a bad first impression

The food was amazing, best gumbo we've ever had. The place was crazy busy so there was a bit of a wait time but so worth it! The waitress was so sweet and took great care of us!

The wait staff is amazing. The soft shell crabs were a disappointment. To much batter, no flavor. They were fat crabs but sorry they had no flavor. The boiled shrimp were good flavor but hard to peel. Eggplant sticks good.
